Christopher A. Swartz
Chris is the founder and President of Swartz Adoption Agency. He is
a partner in the law firm of Swartz & Wilson. He graduated from Suffolk
University in 1992. He became a certified adoption attorney in 1994
and has helped mid-Michigan families with the adoption process since
then. He has handled hundreds of adoptions internationally and domestically
(including direct placement, step-parent, in-family and guardianship).

Dawn Taylor
Dawn graduated from Gallaudet University in 1996 with a Bachelor's Degree
in English and a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy/Religion. Because of
her experience and knowledge, she assists with international dossiers.

Patricia Wolohan
Patricia is our Chief Administrator. She also serves as a Social Services
Supervisor and Social Services Worker for Swartz Adoption. Patricia
has a Bachelor’s Degree from Central Michigan University and is a licensed
Social Worker with the State of Michigan. She has worked, in the past,
as an Adoption Specialist with the Saginaw County Department of Human
Services for 10 years. She has also held various other social services
positions with adoptive and foster families and children. Patricia prepares
home studies and post-placement reports. She provides services to birth

Lisa Kern
Lisa serves as a Social Services Supervisor and Social Services Worker
for Swartz Adoption. Lisa has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from
Grand Valley State University and is a licensed Social Worker in the
State of Michigan. She has over 15 years of experience working in the
child welfare field. Lisa prepares home studies and post-placement reports.
She provides services to birth parents and adoptive parents. Lisa can
